On the last day of June, I requested a $25 Target gift card and the Shopkick software was acting kinda wonky, however, I did eventually get the gift card but I decided to wait to request a second gift card. On Independence Day, I remembered to request the second $25 Target gift card and the gift card never showed which means that I had to submit Shopkick Trouble Ticket.
1. In the upper left, click on the person silhouette and click on the gear in the right corner.
2. Click "Questions and support".
3. Scroll down to the very bottom of the screen and click "Contact Us".
Customer service did say that they were experiencing software issues and my gift card would be in my account within 24 hours and the gift card was in my account just as she'd said.
just wondering- on Shopkick do you know what 1099 type they issue for over $600? k? misc? nec? if anyone knows it would be you
ReplyDeletethanks
Dave, you don't create a 1099 form, it's generally given to you. Aren't you getting gift cards from SK? Anyways, hypothetically, SK would most likely give you a 1099-K:
DeleteForm 1099-K (Payment Card and Third-Party Network Transactions): Reports payments received through payment cards (like credit or debit cards) and third-party settlement organizations (like PayPal or Venmo) for goods or services. For tax year 2025, the reporting threshold for Form 1099-K is $2,500. For tax years 2026 and beyond, the threshold is expected to be $600.
Thank you again- I was lost why they want SS# at $600 if threshold is $2500 ?? Thanks
