Yesterday, the Game On Ready, Set, Go Game was rolled out and our version of the game is only available to southern California: Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara or Ventura. I was confused, last year, because the version of the game being played in Sacramento was completely different Southern California.
Denise let us know that Rockstar, Chobani and Snickers works on the GO Game...but only select flavors or varieties. You will have to check the app each and every time to see if a particular item works towards the GO Game. The picture shows 3 Rockstar drinks and in this particular case, only the Rockstar Pure Zero Energy in the flavor Punch works for the GO Game.
Select Rockstar drinks and the Snicker bars are on sale for $1 as part of the 10 for $10 (you must buy 10) and you'll find, checking the app, that some select flavors will double dip with the Go Game.
You can buy 2 select Rockstar drinks and 8 Snickers bar which is $10. In the Vons/Albertsons app, you can search for a particular product and see the offers for the products.
I earned 9 Game On yesterday and only bought 10/$10 items, including 2 Rockstars with $5 back and 2 Gatorade Zero with $1/2 digital.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me that the best way to pursue Game On is to simply think of it as “I need to earn “10” to get $5. Since the rewards seem to simply be multiples of 10 ($5/10, $10/20 etc.) I see no benefit in saving up for anything above the $5 reward UNLESS you accumulate a lot of game plays in a shopping trip and are close to a higher level.
But they’ve made it relatively easy to get your first $5, so I’d definitely “get while the getting is good” before earning entries becomes more difficult (and you’re buying things you don’t need simply to get Game On entries).
Another good opportunity to earn entries this week is the Lean Cuisines which are $2.27, Game On credit, 3X points plus 50 cents each Ibotta to boot.
Last year, when I played the game in Sacramento, it was easier bc you only needed to get 3 points to get $5 and it was limitless. They also had double points on certain items. For example, we were getting the McCormick Taco Seasoning for $0.50 each for like a limit of 10 or something and it was double points...it was crazy. I believe, last year, that they used NorCal as a Beta Test bc the version of the game that we got in SoCal was it was pure trash.π€£
