Running Kimono on YouTube posted this excellent video about being careful on how much you spend at these going out of business sales. She mentions Big Lots and in San Diego most of the Big Lots were closed almost immediately after they announced their Chapter 11 filing a few months ago so I was shocked that they still were having store closing sells in the Midwest. It's the same story with the Rite Aid stores, whatever stores they determined would be closed, they closed those stores immediately without a going out business sale.
I absolutely agree with her that we are already in a recession.
