Ralphs/Kroger: General Mills Bars on the Cheap

This deal posted by savingwithsav on Instagram is so cheap, I had to share and she says the following:

I ran to Kroger today to pick up more shelf staple foods as the deals are tooooo good, and I am getting ready to make a donation trip!

This is the deal I did, and I got a $3 catalina! To be honest, I don’t know what the Catalina promo terms are if anyone knows please let us know!!!!
-
A Catalina is a paper coupon that prints out when you purchase certain items at Kroger. You can use that coupon on your next transaction for anything at Kroger:)
-
BREAKDOWN:
•Buy 2 GM cereal bars @ $2.99
•Buy 3 Motts bars @ $2.99
= $14.95
-$5 Mega Event
-$1 off 2 DQ
=$8.95
-$4 Ibotta
-$3 Catalina Coupon
-$1.80 Fetch (could be more if you have additional general mills offers!)
=$0.15 for all ~ $0.03 each!
-
If the Catalina promo allowed you to buy all 5 Mott’s bars it should be a small MM! I did not personally try buying 5 Mott’s so if anyone does try let us know if it works🤞🏻

This breakdown includes “mega event” savings! This week the mega event is buy 5 save $1 each! You can buy ANY 5 mega event items to qualify for the extra $1 off each promo:) this scenario in particular includes five mega event items already, so you don’t have to worry about buying anymore to get that mega event price!!!!!

  1. Since ads change on Wednesday and I’m out of time today I’m going to try this and will post if it’s still working (since prices may change).

I would like to call everyone’s attention to something else I stumbled upon which should occasionally get you some unexpected Ibotta earnings and credits.

There’s a bit of extra work you’ll need to do. But it’s quick.

And basically it’s this: besides the store where you made a purchase you should consider doing two additional receipt scans. And you’ll do them by clicking on ANY GROCERY STORE and ANY LIQUOR STORE. I discovered that some items on those two places do not overlap with store offers! Most items are identical, but not 100%.

It also gives you a workaround where, say, Ralphs might have Bud on sale but no Ibotta offer. And yet there’s a nice juicy $5 just sitting there begging for attention on one of those other two places. Don’t leave $5 sitting on the table, or I’ll grab it if Ms. B. doesn’t get it first!

The other bit of work besides doing two extra receipt scans is making sure each and every ANY GROCERY or ANY LIQUOR offer is activated, Since we aren’t limited as we are with Ralph’s just add them whenever you’ve got a little idle time. During TV commercials is perfect.

I can’t guarantee results, but if you just follow these guidelines you WILL benefit at some point. It’s only an occasional little surprise perk but we’ll take it!
