Fetch has added a new “1200 for 3 GM fall products” offer🍁

One of the reasons that I am always pointing out the long holiday weekends is because I want y'all to be out enjoying life with your family and friends!  You are only 25 years old once.  You are only 35 years old once.  You are only 45 years old once.  You are only 55 years old once.  Live your life.  The reason that you are saving money is so that you can live your best life and you can't do that if you are going back and forth with a rebate app.

A reader, Nick, says the following:

Unrelated Fetch comment: Fetch has added a new “1200 for 3 GM fall products” offer.

We all share the goal of wanting to maximize savings.

But Fetch is making it an arduous chore with overlapping confusing offers. You literally have to spend a few minutes to determine which flavor, size etc. qualifies over an entire manufacturer’s product line.

And then, after making all that effory, you have to then go and research all the stores to compare prices so you’ll know where to shop.

So much work! And, in this case, to earn the equivalent (roughly) of $1.20 (and that’s if you can even find a Fetch gift card at par value that doesn’t charge you a hefty add-on fee at redemption).

And all of that effort is assuming you don’t even spend more time resubmitting due to Fetch glitches which occur frequently.

Therefore, Wifey and I have developed a new “policy” for pursing Fetch deals.

Like many of you, we will check often under the “Most recent” tab to see if there’s anything new that looks interesting. But if the offer isn’t “juicy” (which means a lot more than only getting 40 cents for a box of cereal) we will simply make a mental note of the offer and move on.

Folks, there are only so many hours in the day. Many of us have jobs and families. Do make time for hobbies like this which you love but don't yourself into pretzel over trivial confusing deals. Save your energy for the worthwhile!

Thanks, Nick!
