ReplyDeleteSo… when I did the Two Good deal the $1 DQ did NOT exactly come off. The total for the 6 was $1.34 after store CB and Ibotta.
ReplyDeleteOn Buy 5 deals the system usually applies the digital coupon first before it takes a look at the entire receipt and then applies the Buy 5 discount if applicable. So, on my receipt It shows that the coupon reduced the first yogurt from $1.89 to 89 cents, then the system applied the Buy 5 $1 off to the other 5 yogurts.
In other words, I didn’t get the Buy 5 discount on the first yogurt because the coupon had already discounted it to 89 cents and another dollar off would have resulted in a negative total. (NOTE: sometimes you WILL see a negative total on a VONS receipt in this situation! )
Anyway, I knew it would be a big mess to explain to the cashier why I was due another $1 off. So, although Ms. B. will always tell you I don’t leave money sitting on the table this time was an exception. I figured it was a good enough deal to get 6/$1.34 and if that had been the original deal I still would have done it!
You can Chat with Customer Service and they will give you the $1 without a problem for the yogurt.😁
