I absolutely needed this offer because the price of meat has gone completely out of control. Yesterday, when I went to Vons to pick up the FREE Breyers Dulce de Leche ice cream (the deal is NLA), I wanted to pick up a package of ground beef and MY GOD...there was not a package of ground beef on the Meat aisle!!! With the price of pork chops and chicken being so high, I guess there is a run on the ground beef?
These days, I don't buy a lot of red meats but we do like to have it occasionally and so I was taken totally a back by the ground beef not being on the shelf. Maybe, it was my particular Vons on a particular day type of deal and I was too lazy to go to the Vons down the street. Who knows?
