Plotting and Planning

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!!! HI, CHERYL!!!!!

San Diego is still recovering from the storm and floods we had on Monday.  There are still lots of roads, streets and freeways that are partially shut down or just shutdown.  They had partially shut down El Cajon Blvd to one lane and University is shutdown is certain areas.  In my area, 30th & El Cajon was flooded like waist deep.  Of course, right down the hill from us, Mission Valley always floods whenever it rains and when I say it floods, it floods like the roads must closed because the water gets up so high that no sane person would drive through it because your car's engine would get water in it and stall out.  Also, the Pacific Highway, in front of the Marine Corps Base always floods every time it rains, I don't know why CALTRANS do not fix that area of Pac Hwy.

In case of an emergency, make sure that you have a few bucks at home. I have a couple of backpacks ready to go if we need to roll out of here in case of an emergency.  With global warming, the storms are going to be intense and you have to be prepared because the insurance companies aren't going to help. Look at the state of Florida, the insurance companies have abandon the state or the rates are so high that insurers cannot afford the premiums.

Again, keep putting money into your Emergency Funds.

To my surprise, I finished the $5 Weekend Warrior on Thursday and the $3 Blizzard Bonus on Friday. I would have finish the Blizzard on Thursday but I ran into the problem with Poop-Pourri not working out for the Ibotta offer.

I've already requested my funds from the Ibotta app and they are already in my PayPal account.  Next Thursday is February 1st so I need to start redeeming my points for the start of a new month!

OMG, I had so much fun picking up the $4 Money Maker Sweet Tart Candies at Ralphs, as well as, the FREE+ $0.74 MM Skinny Girl Salad Dressings at Walmart!!!

There will be a Smart Source and Save coupon inserts in the newspapers or depending upon where you live, it may be delivered to your mailbox or out in your drive way or lawn.

It’s Saturday …enjoy your day! On Sundays, I take the day off from blogging.
