This is when you make your own sale on your favorite coffee or coffee creamer or whatever it is that you want in the store.  For example, I've never tried the Starbucks creamer because it's too expensive but if CVS sold and with my FREE $4 off Extra Bucks, I'd buy if I was wanting to do so.
