Update: The zip didn't work for me today.
I went over to Slick Deals to see what's being said about the zip code advantage (Vons/Albertsons) and ChrisV said the following:
Just a suggestion for loading the $1 coupons for any accounts that recently switched to away from your region and you are getting them back again for the first time. Wait at least 24 hours before attempting to load/clip them. This seemed to be a bug in the past that if you loaded them right away they didn't work that whole week. Then you had to wait for the 2nd week after receiving them again for the first time to work like normal again. I am not sure if that is what happened in your case but wanted to throw that out for everyone else as we seem to be in a new territory of trying to get accounts to switch regions to get our coupons back.
I went to Las Vegas (89101) and I found the zip advantage and added them to my account, as I believe they were available to load since Wednesday. I did load them a couple weeks ago but they did not work at that time and I'll go to the store and I'll pick up a bananas to see if it works.
That's nice to know, but as I recall, Las Vegas zips stopped working for us several years ago. Yes, they're on their Safeway website and you can load them...but then when you go back to your zip (mine is in So Cal) for Albie's/Von's and try to use them, they're not there. This is when I started placing dummy orders on line to see if they'd work or not. Luckily we had Nor Cal zips (Sacramento, Lake Tahoe) which did work.
ReplyDeleteSince I buy fresh produce on a weekly basis, I am going to try it because why not!π€£
ReplyDeleteI found the Q's under LV zip 89116 and loaded them...then went back to my So Cal acct to shop online...they didn't work :( And yes...I use those $1.00 produce Q's every week...even on O Organic garlic or ginger. Definitely have missed them.
