Worked like a charm! I used my Target Circle saved money and reused a bag to get $0.20 more off.
ReplyDeleteGrowly, the 25% off worked on the truffles?
Deletemy closest Target do not carry them hopefully they will soon
ReplyDeleteCheryl, my nearest, nearest Target is a Target Neighborhood stores and it's almost within walking distance but their prices are sky-high since they are in a walking neighborhood of houses, condos, restaurants & bars but my second nearest Target is also sky-high but they had the truffles & 5 min. away by car.
DeleteMs. B- is a Target neighborhood store a full grocery store like Gemco used to be?
ReplyDeleteTarget Express stores are a very small version of a regular Target store. The Target Express in my neighborhood have no cashiers only self checkout. It has a very small selection of clothes, food, health, beauty, medicine, electronics & household. Our store is two story but only 30 parking spots.
DeleteCheryl, I've never seen or heard of Gemco grocery store.
DeleteMs. B- I never heard of a Target Express. Gemco was owned by Lucky stores and sold way before Albertsons bought Lucky stores in S CA. I guess you could say Gemco was like a Target store
ReplyDeleteI called them Target Neighborhood stores because they are about the same size as the Walmart Neighborhood stores. I believe we got three in San Diego during the pandemic. Previously, that vacant building was a Pic n Save (Big Lots) and shuttered about within a year of me moving here. I don't recall ever seeing a Lucky grocery in San Diego but we had at least a couple in Sacramento...but that was years and years ago that Lucky came and went. I couldn't even say where the stores were located.

ReplyDeleteWow, I never realized that Lucky had such an exciting past and it's really too bad that so many grocery stores got gobbled up by bigger grocery stores. I had no idea that Kroger had bought some of the Lucky stores...and maybe some of the Ralphs stores in San Diego used to be Lucky stores.
