Silicon Valley Bank fails - Largest Bank Failure in History

Earlier, today, Silicon Valley Bank was shut down by the state of California and it is being reported that Wells Fargo is having problem making payments.

Remember that just a couple of weeks ago, I said I didn't know how Joolie dates remained in business as they were literally paying us to take their products out of the store.  These niche businesses go to niches bank like Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) to bankroll start up companies...and today, a lot of their customers decided to withdraw their deposits.

I kid you not....this is BIG.

Thanks, Stacie!

  1. Funny how you mention the Joolie dates. During my Ralphs visit today, I saw boxes and boxes of the Joolies dates "discounted" to $1.00 in the clearance area.

We're so used to it being on sale for $0.99 that people don't buy them for the normal $2.49 price.

    1. It's the $13.29 purple Sleep one with the $5 offers. Do NOT clip the Target $5 coupon, but you can clip the 20% off one.

  3. Etsy uses SVB to distribute funds, so payments did not come in for sellers. This is bad!
