It was last Saturday that we had the dark ominous skies, super duper hurricane winds and rains. I saw reports of snow in Orange County, Riverside, Irvin, Temecula, Murrieta, I think even Malibu had some snow, too. It was also very, very cold. I went for walk, last weekend and I telling you that I needed gloves, scarf and hat, it was that cold and windy.
Within a 24 hour period between March 2 and March 3, I manage to mess up three deals - the Yoplait, Werther's and Colgate...and they all worked out perfectly fine as I was able to right the ship as they say. We cannot beat ourselves up when things go wrong, we must push forward to resolve the situation. My son had just asked about getting toothpaste and he's really anal about expiration dates so I was happy to do the Colgate deal and I was delighted to use the FREE $4 ECB.
I have been loving my sabbatical from CVS, I don't think that I'll ever return to rolling Extra Bucks on a weekly basis but I love being able to jump and out of CVS deals...I am going to do my best to roll the ECBs into rebates.
My son's birthday is on Sunday and I made him like a basket full of his favorite snacks and I was really happy to use my store rewards to buy the snacks. My son is very frugal so he doesn't buy himself snacks or sodas and I am really grateful that the FREE Dr. Pepper deal came along, as well as, the uber cheap Starry Lemon Lime soda.
There will be a Smart Source and Save coupon inserts in the newspapers or depending upon where you live, it may be delivered to your mailbox or out in your drive way or lawn.
