Again, I don't care what rebate app it is, always redeem your points because rebate apps are not banks nor are they covered by the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation).

This is why you redeem your rebate points ASAP

I went onto Shopkick's Instagram page and a commenter says that 85,000 ($340) kicks. I am assuming that she was using her Shopkick account as her safety net. All over social media people are talking about how much they lost on the Shopkick account.

I happen to catch a youtuber, talking about her points Shopkick points had disappeared and she had bought 10 Old Spice and I think she had bought the deodorant maybe like a day or two after I bought my deodorant. Anyways, she said she had bad feeling about her Shopkick points and she decided to look at her account and Shopkick had removed the Old Spice points.

As you see under the "announcements" Shopkicks says they are unable to award your recent Old Spice receipt due to reaching the limit of supplies. We want to make things right -- 5,000 kicks are on their way and will be added to your account this week."

I quickly checked my Shopkick points and because I am so leery of all rebate companies, as soon as, I was awarded the Old Spice points of $54.40, I cashed out for a $50 Amazon gift card.

HOWEVER, I did do the Pacha soap CVS deal for $44 Shopkick and that's the points that the points that they removed from my account. If I return all of the Pacha, I'd get back $36.50 and Ibotta would claw back it's $15.

Shopkick over promised on the Old Spice and went into our accounts and they clawed back whatever points we had in our account.

The only reason that I didn't immediately redeem my Pacha points is because I was so close to another $50 Amazon gift card that I was hoping there would be another deal for $6 and then I'd cash out.

I haven't gone to any after Christmas sales, in earnest, in probably 4 or 5 years and that's because the sales are straight trash. The stores employees have hidden the best stuff and what's left isn't something that I want to spend my money on like holiday candies & cookies, Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, gift bags, bows and greeting cards, etc. This year, when I was digging through the Christmas tubs, I found beautiful individual Papyrus Christmas Cards that I found at CVS for like a dollar and some change each at their after Christmas sale. This year, I sent out the Papyrus Greeting Cards to family and friends. How do I know about the fancy and high quality greeting cards? Papyrus used to have stationary stores and I want to say that there used to be a store in downtown Sacramento on K Street Mall, close to the capitol.

If you are going to the after Christmas sales always be on the look out for the Christmas Ziploc bags, parchment paper, cupcake liners, paper cups, plates, napkins and paper towels. The Ziploc Christmas storage food containers and grab whatever size that you can find because they last a long time!

On the first week of December, I ordered a hair dryer on eBay. It's been a long time since I've ran into a scammer on eBay but long story short, the person never shipped my item but kept my money from PayPal. The thing I love about eBay is that the seller must provide proof of shipment and for whatever reason she never shipped. Of course, I demanded my money back and she cried that she didn't have any money, her car broke down and made up a bunch of excuses that had nothing to do with me and refunding me my money.

eBay gave her three days to return my money and she never returned it but eBay did return my money. I'm sure that she's band from buying or selling on eBay. eBay's Money Back Guarantee worked for me!

Shopkick has acknowledged that there's been some delays in processing receipts.

Over the last month, Shopkicks has came for Ibotta's neck letting them know that they are not the only rebate app that has hot deals. Shopkicks has had some ahmazzzzing deals like The Vitamin Shoppe deal, Old Spice, Pacha bath items, Kraft Jalapeño mac & cheese and the Screaming pizza...AND let's not forget the Ulta Salon Services.

I read online that during the Old Spice offer that someone out there bragged on Instagram that they'd bought $400 worth of Old Spice. People have been wilding out on the HUGE MONEY MAKERS.

When you see ME go out and buy 8 Old Spice deodorants...you best believe that it's a huge money maker because I wouldn't run to Walmart during the critical Christmas shopping season for just free deodorant. Even with the taxes, the deodorant was a huge money maker.
