Thank goodness, I got up early!🤣

I live in a heavily densely populated area of San Diego, you don't just casually drive to the grocery store, if you need grocery shop like for your regular weekly groceries, you kinda have to plan your trip and hit the grocery store at the right time day or night because although, we have a lot of grocery stores...we don't have enough parking at our grocery stores - North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, University Heights, Normal Heights, Kensington, Mission Valley, Mission Hills, Banker's Hill.

I got up early, this morning, and I drove to Vons at 7 a.m. because I know that I am making chili for Christmas Day and everything is going into the crockpot except for the ground turkey, I'll cook that on the stove top and it'll be ready for crockpot on Christmas Day.

When I got to Vons, there were already about 40 or 50 cars in the parking lot.  Thankfully, I was able to get the beans, jalapeños, ground turkey, canned diced tomatoes, sour cream and a few more items that we needed.

I get home, I put the groceries away and I look at the weather forecast and I can see we are about to have some rain. I am so grateful that I got up early and ran to the grocery store before the rains hit because people will run through a stop sign or signal light trying to get to work on time and with the rain, it really makes driving difficult!

We are only forecast to get a couple of hours of rain for this morning and then later the evening, around 6 pm, more rain will be coming.

Be safe out there!
