Walmart adds anti-theft devices to their clothing

Typically, I've only seen anti-theft devices on higher end clothing like real leather jackets and expensive hand bags but I don't think I've ever seen the anti-theft devices on Walmart jeans but then again, I've never seen so many people laid off of jobs by the thousands and our federal government wanting remove all the social safety nets like food, utilities, medical and housing.  We can afford medical because of government subsidies.  It's a whole iteration, a whole system of how our society works.  It's not just the United States, it every country is doing in some shape or fashion. Third World countries not so much. I think in Nigeria, the electricity is only available for like 4 hours per day and that's it.

People really, really think that their tax dollars is paying for all this stuff and it doesn't.

People don't understand how their city, county, state or federal government works from taking that one semester of the Government class they took in high school.

A group of San Diego homeowners have filed a lawsuit against the city because they have to pay for trash pickup starting on July 1st.  These people thought they'd get free trash pick up forever but guess what they economy sucks and everyone have to pay for trash pick up.

The point being that if you pay $20,000, $30,000, $50,000, $100,000 in taxes to the government, it's not enough to pay for road maintenance, police and fire departments, libraries, teachers, military, land assessors...I could go on and on.

Amazon pays no taxes but their trucks are using our highways and local streets, the signal lights, road signs, etc.  The federal and state governments are subsidizing Amazon so that our society can have cheap stuff and they can keep their profits high.

Meanwhile, Walmart is putting anti-theft devices on $17 Walmart jeans and their workers don't work full time so they qualify for federal food stamps (EBT) and other subsidized services.
