Tammy's Target Tips!

 

A reader, Tammy, had left a comment saying the following:

That's why every single thing that I buy and check out with at Target I price match to zip 33434. They have the lowest prices in the country which will make the stur free!

I flip back and forth - to check whether my store is in stock I used my zip and then when I go to self checkout I switch to the Florida zip and show the cashier the price on my phone with the Florida zip 

I totally agree with Tammy especially about going through Self Checkout to do Price Matching.  The attendant just overrides the price and move onto the next customer.

To change the zip code on the Target app, you do the following:

1. On the app, at the bottom right, click "My Target".

2.  Enter the zip 33434 and click on the Boca store and "save".

3. Go back to the homepage on the app and click "Recently viewed" product and you'll show that to the attendant at Self Checkout or the cashier.

If you've already paid the outrageous $4.49 price, you can also take your receipt to the Service Desk and request to get your receipt modified/price matched/adjusted but sometimes they act funny at the Service Desk and if you are the shy type just return it.  Then buy it again and just stick with the Self Checkout for the Price Match.
