My Trip to CVS😂🎉💰

 

My city of San Diego is in the process of shutting down from downtown to my neighborhood of North Park for the Rock n Roll Marathon on Sunday, June 1st.  When I say they're shutting down, they are in the midst of closing the streets so we don't have a nut out there trying to run over marathon runners. As I was driving to CVS, I could see that they were staging the local streets with cones and barriers so I got over to CVS just in time.

I get inside the store and I look for the $0.99 Hallmark gift cards and there are none in the store, however, there are these tiny Hallmark cards (pictured above) for $1.99 each which means that three of them would $5.97 minus my $1 Extra Bucks making them free for me after the $5 Extra Bucks.

I had forgotten that activated the $5/3 Hallmark cards digital coupon and it came off on my receipt, as well as, the FREE $1 Extra Bucks which automatically adjusted down to $0.97 and I literally only paid the tax of $0.39.  I got back the $5 Extra Bucks and another FREE $1 Extra Bucks!!!!!

The trip was a $5.61 Money Maker!!!!!

It is the very last day of the month, you can request your funds from the rebate apps!

I finally got to taste the famous Slice soda (we got it for FREE at Sprouts a couple days ago) that a lot of people was saying that it tastes super good...and I hated it. I got the Cherry Cola and I instantly wanted to spit it out.  I am so happy that we got to taste the soda for free. I tried the soda around lunchtime and after the one sip, I poured it down the drain.  We save so much money getting to try new products without using our own money to do so.

For example, last summer, we got to try the STEM Fly Light Trap, we basically got to try that for free after rebates but to be honest, it's too expensive and we all know that it's being made in China for $0.50 but they are going to sell to us for $20.  My STEM never caught a fly BUT it did catch two or three gnats.  I will keep buying it as long as it's a money maker!

There will not be a coupon insert in the Sunday newspapers.  It's Saturday, enjoy your day On Sundays, I take the off from blogging.

Over the weekend, I ordered three Old Navy Women's First Layer Tank Tops 3pk for $5 each which is an amazing price.  It's hard to hang onto a white shirt or tank all summer long without it getting stained or discolored in some sort of way and it's the reason I hopped on the deal.  

The regular price of the tank tops 3 pack is $29.99 and they are currently on sale for $18 but $5 each was an even better deal.  Sometimes, you got to hop on deals even if you wasn't looking for that particular deal but you do know that you'll use the item. For example, I probably wouldn't buy three yellow tank tops for $5 because I probably wouldn't wear them so that would be a waste of my money. So, you have to make that decision as to what is a good value for your money.
